SWG is coming to YOU

Bring the studio to your space. I offer small group workshops for a hands-on, slightly messy, very satisfying ceramic experience.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build your own mug using hand-building techniques. We’ll start with a pinch pot, explore coils, and learn how to attach and shape your piece. There will also be a variety of surface textures and decorative appliqués to experiment with, so each mug ends up uniquely yours.

Your mug can be glazed during the workshop using Stroke & Coat underglazes.

After the session, I’ll take the pieces back to my garage studio for firing and return them to you as soon as they’re ready (usually within 3 weeks).

What’s included:

  • 1.5 hours of instruction + hands-on guidance
  • Individual tool kits (canvas mat, sponge, needle tool)
  • Shared tools (stamps, paddles, cut-outs, textures, etc.)
  • Glazing with Stroke & Coat underglazes
  • Collection, firing, and return of finished mugs

Pricing:

  • $40 per person
  • $150 base fee (includes up to 1.5 hours for small groups)

For larger groups or longer sessions, pricing may be adjusted accordingly.
